Gluten Free Oat Matzoh Candy
|2 sticks butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 sheets gluten free oat matzoh
12 oz. milk chocolate chips (you may substitute dark or white chocolate chips)Preheat oven to 350.
Line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
Completely cover foil with gluten free oat matzoh, using as few pieces as possible.
Heat butter and brown sugar, cook over medium to medium high heat for
5 minutes until mixture becomes thick and sticky.
Pour sugar mixture over gluten free oat matzoh and bake for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and cover with chocolate chips, let sit for about 5 minutes,
then spread spread to cover matzoh.
Cool in refrigerator for 3 hours or over night. Peel off foil and break into pieces.
It may be easier to use a pizza cutter to get same size pieces.Submitted by Marianne Koby
